Indications

Clearing heat and disperse the lung, alleviate panting, clear the throat.

Used for the common cold in children caused by exogenous wind-heat. The symptoms include fever with aversion to cold, coughing with yellow phlegm, shortness of breath and wheezing, dry mouth, hoarse voice, and swelling and pain of the throat.

Composition

Ephedrae Herba,  Armeniacae Semen Amarum, Gypsum Fibrosum , Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Scutellariae Radix, Isatidis Radix, Menispermi Rhizoma. Excipients: honey, sucrose and sodium benzoate

Character

This product is a brownish-yellow liquid. There will be a small amount of precipitate after standing for a long time. It tastes sweet and slightly bitter. 

Specification

Each 1 ml is equivalent to 1.02 g of the prepared herbal medicine.

Usage and Dosage

For oral administration. 3 - 5 ml for children aged 1 to 2 years old, 5 - 10 ml for those aged 3 to 5 years old, and 10 - 15 ml for those aged 6 to 14 years old, 3 times a day. Shake well before use.

Avoid spicy, cold and greasy foods.

It is not advisable to take tonic traditional Chinese medicines simultaneously during the period of taking this medicine.

Infants should take this medicine under the guidance of a doctor.

Children with hypertension and heart disease should use this medicine with caution. Children with diabetes and those with weak spleen and prone to diarrhea should take this medicine under the guidance of a doctor.

Patients with a fever body temperature exceeding 38.5°C should go to the hospital for treatment.

If the symptoms of cough and asthma worsen, seek medical attention at the hospital in a timely manner.

If the symptoms are not relieved after taking this medicine for 3 days, go to the hospital for treatment.

Those who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it, and those with an allergic constitution should use it with caution.

Do not use this product when its properties change.

Children must use this product under the supervision of adults.
