Indications

Used for relieving symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, stomachache, and discomfort in the stomach caused by excessive gastric acid in adults and children aged 12 and above.

Composition

This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 10 mg of famotidine, 800 mg of calcium carbonate, and 165 mg of magnesium hydroxide. Excipients include: sucrose, lactose, corn starch, mannitol, betacyclodextrin, sucralose, aluminum lake of carmine, peppermint powder flavor, cool sweet orange powder flavor, magnesium stearate, povidone K30 and silicon dioxide.

Character

This product is a white to pink tablet.

Usage and Dosage

Chew before taking. Take 1 tablet each time, 1 to 2 times a day. Do not take more than 2 tablets within 24 hours.

Adverse Reactions

A few patients may experience headache, dizziness, insomnia, constipation, and diarrhea. Skin rashes, urticaria, etc. may occur occasionally. Loss of appetite, leukopenia, mild transient elevation of transaminase, increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, facial flushing, and irregular menstruation, etc. are rare.

Taboos

Those who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it.

Those with swallowing disorders are prohibited from using it.

Those with severe impairment of liver and kidney functions are prohibited from using it. 

Drug Interactions

Famotidine in this product does not inhibit hepatic drug-metabolizing enzymes and has no significant interactions with other drugs. This product has a mild effect on the pharmacokinetics of theophylline, phenytoin sodium, warfarin, nifedipine and diazepam, and does not affect the distribution of procainamide and others in the body.

When this product is taken in combination with tetracyclines or fluoroquinolones, the absorption of the latter will be reduced, probably because the presence of antacids easily causes chelation of such substances.

When this product is taken in combination with vitamin D analogues, hypercalcemia is likely to occur.

Cautions

Do not use this product continuously for more than 7 days. If symptoms such as stomachache are not relieved or disappear, please consult a doctor or undergo further examination.

Patients with impaired liver function should use this product with caution.

The main ingredient of this product, famotidine, is mainly excreted by the kidneys. Patients with impaired renal function should use this product with caution.

Children under 12 years old should use this product under the guidance of a doctor.

Pregnant women and lactating women should use this product under the guidance of a doctor.

Do not use this product in combination with other antacids or acid suppressants.

Do not take more than 2 tablets of this product within 24 hours.

Elderly patients other than those with impaired liver and kidney functions generally do not need to adjust the dosage when taking this product.

In case of sudden and unexplained nausea, vomiting, and upper abdominal pain, go to the hospital for treatment in a timely manner.

Patients with a history of central nervous system diseases and neurological diseases should use this product under the guidance of a doctor.

If allergic reactions such as skin rashes occur after taking the medicine, stop taking the medicine immediately.

If an overdose is taken or severe adverse reactions occur, seek medical attention immediately.

Those who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. Those with an allergic constitution should use it with caution.

Do not use this product when its properties change.

Children must use this product under the supervision of adults.
