Indications

Dispersing wind and clearing heat, removing toxin and dispersing swelling, cooling blood and disinhibiting the gallbladder. Indicated for fever and headache, pharyngeal congestion and swelling, infra-auricular swelling and pain, hypochondriac pain and icterus caused by exogenous wind heat or pestilence toxin; as well as those with influenza, mumps, and acute viral hepatitis showing the above-mentioned symptoms.

Composition

Isatidis Folium, Lonicerae Japonicae Flos, Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, Bistortae Rhizoma, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma.

Character

This product is a clear liquid in reddish-brown color. It tastes sweet and slightly bitter. 

Specification

Each vial contains 10 milliliters.

Usage and Dosage

For oral administration. Take 10 - 20 ml each time, two to three times a day. For acute viral hepatitis, take 30 ml each time, three times a day.

A small amount of precipitate that can be easily dispersed by shaking is allowed during the storage period of this medicine.

Pharmacological Actions

This product can inhibit the rise of body temperature and has an antipyretic effect. It can significantly enhance the phagocytic function of phagocytes, and has a strong anti-inflammatory effect. It has a remarkable effect against influenza A and B viruses, and has an inhibitory effect on positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus.
